Our friendly staff at Seaview offer a varied programme of activities, including armchair exercise and therapy. There is something for everyone and we welcome suggestions. The local mobile library service visits regularly with a wide selection of large print, fiction, non-fiction and audio books.
As well as the in-house activities there are also regular outings to the Pier, Kings Theatre and other local places of interest.Medical care is provided by a local doctor of your choice and we have an excellent rapport with the local health and remedial services, who we can contact on your behalf.
A range of visiting professionals adds to the services and facilities we can offer: Hairdresser, Beautician, Chiropodist, Optician and Dentist, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy can also be arranged. In order to fulfill the residents spiritual needs, places of worship are a short distance from the home, and clergy of different denominations bring ministry to anyone who feels unable to go to church. Our dining room provides a welcoming atmosphere for you to enjoy all of your meals but we are happy to provide room service when required. Our cook has created a varied and well-balanced daily menu offering wholesome, home cooking using fresh local produce. We are happy to accommodate individual likes and dislikes and special diets are catered for.
